Make sure to complete all applicable sections of your registration form. When finished, click the “submit” button at the end of the form.

Registrations will close on March 30th, 2026, at midnight.

Don’t forget to read over and complete any relevant Safety and Ethics Forms for your project, and a Mentor Form where applicable as part of your registration process. Please email them to msss.sc.projects@gmail.com

You can also check out the MSSS judging rubric. Please note that the judging rubric may be subject to change for MSSS 2026 following a review of the rubric this winter.

Registration closes March 30, 2026.

    • You must create a Science Fair Project Backboard Display for your in-person presentation at the MSSS event.

    • Students should prepare a 7 to 10 minute presentation of their project for judging.

    • No virtual ProjectBoard is required.

    • All students must create a physical Science Fair Project backboard for their presentation at the MSSS event.

    • Students should prepare a 7 to 10 minute presentation of their project for judging.

    • This year, ProjectBoard is optional for grades 7-12 students. It is only mandatory for MSSS finalists to CWSF and students unable to attend MSSS in person.

    • Please be advised that if you are selected to represent MSSS at the Canada-wide Science Fair, you must set up your project on ProjectBoard by April 30, 2026.  After you have completed your ProjectBoard presentation, remember to set it to PUBLIC VIEWING. If you have a partner, set them as co-owners on your ProjectBoard.

    • Students unable to attend MSSS in person due to travel restrictions must complete a ProjectBoard project by April 5, 2026. After you have completed your ProjectBoard presentation, remember to set it to PUBLIC VIEWING. If you have a partner, set them as co-owners on your ProjectBoard.

    You can use the ProjectBoard guide and ProjectBoard Library for help and inspiration when creating your ProjectBoard.

  • Fair Registration (per student): $40

    Group registration (two students): $80

    Payments can be made by cheque or through E-Transfer. Please send your E-Transfers to msss.sc.projects@gmail.com

    Please make your cheque to “Manitoba Schools Science Symposium,” include the participant’s name in the memo section, and mail it to the address below. (Note: $40 for a single participant and $80 for a team of 2).
